Hello Everyone,
Once again I find myself apologizing for the long delay
between newsletters. This last school year was something
else! To say "busy" doesn't even begin to cover it! The
school year itself was great, just busy. For me, personally,
there were some very significant things that occurred
during the year that took a lot of time and energy.
On a happy note, I was blessed with my first grandchild, a
boy, Noah. As grandmothers everywhere can attest to, this
perfect and wonderful in every way! Quite naturally, I
wanted to spend as much time with him as possible.
On a less happy note, my mother has been having serious
health challenges this year and was hospitalized several
times for lengthy stays. It was quite a challenge juggling
school responsibilities, hospital visits, home visits, private
clients, a year-long study in metaphysics,and trying to work
in trips to see Noah. I had little time left over for taking care
of the website.
Things are much better now! School is out for a few weeks,
just completed the year-long class, and, as
difficult as it was for her, Mom finally agreed to "give up her
independence" and to come live with me the first of June.
For the last couple of weeks I have been working on the
site, and I have a lot of new ideas and things I want to do.

Texas Counseling Association Conference
In May I had the honor of presenting EFT at the School Counselor Conference in
Austin, Texas. I met so many counselors who are interested in EFT, because they are
looking for ways to help the children they serve. It was a joy, and I give a special
hello and hug to all of you counselors who attended the workshop! If you
have any questions about using EFT with your students, drop me a line. I
would also love to hear of your experiences!
Because I was so distracted, I missed the deadline for submitting a proposal to
present at the November conference in the fall, but I do plan to offer a "TAKS Math
Phobia and Stress Reliever Workshop" in the Pasadena/Houston TX area, probably
in October or November. Details will be forthcoming.
